APOSTLE CAMY ARNETT

True conversion happened in 1985 and by '86 he was preaching on the streets of New York through rap and drama. Within this same time, he enjoyed being a part of the prayer ministry coupled with the early Sunday morning duties of cleaning the bathrooms.  This was a time remembered in fondness due to the intimate revelations received from God. "When I was 8 years old I asked God what I was here for.  What He revealed was me speaking before a sea of people and buildings just shooting up behind me as I spoke. I have since patterned my life after that vision". Through the years Apostle Arnett has been an usher, armor bearer, auxiliary head, Youth Pastor, an Associate Pastor and traveling minister.

Camy "Cameron" Arnett is the tenacious CEO of BYOBB Media. He works fiercely to bring the company mission to pass -- to provide a biblical standard of Christian programming. He is a native of Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and experienced his first taste of the entertainment industry while in the pre-med program at the University of Miami.  He answered an ad for “Models Wanted” which led to his participation in several competitions.  In the midst of his many victories, his talents in acting and writing were discovered and very soon rewarded.  While an EKG technician at Jackson Memorial Hospital, the demands of his newfound talents increased and forced a decision that would change his life forever.  At nineteen, with a series of commercials and fashion shows as his only foundational experience, he founded his first company, Camy Arnett Productions.

An entrepreneur at heart, it was not long before Camy Arnett Productions was turning a profit with models and actors of its own. With a string of personal successes in Miami, the next logical step was New York where two very special relationships were formed. One was the famed Wilhelmina Agency under the benevolent eye of Dan Deely, the other being his manager Jeremy Ritzer of the then “Feuer and Ritzer Casting”.  To these two men he gives much credit and thanks.
Among his numerous television appearances are Search for Tomorrow, Miami Vice, Doogie Howser MD, and Star Trek: The Next Generation to name a few.  NAACP Best Supporting Actor, and Dramalogue Best Actor Honors are among his awards for his work on the stage. Among his favorite memories are times shared with Lonette McKee, Mykelti Williamson and Richard Roundtree in Charlotte, North Carolina on the set of Having Our Say and with Colleen Dewhurst in York, Maine on the set of Bed and Breakfast.

Throughout his career as a performer and business owner, mentoring of youth has been his passion.  This led to being a founding member of the Leadership Circle, a group dedicated to raising leaders from the inner city of Los Angeles, California.  Observing the need not only for leaders but also for entrepreneurs, he developed Forerunners Mentoring and Kingdom Club:  The New Paradigm. These were organizations focused not only on the dissemination of information, but also practical application and implementation.
Apostle Camy Arnett has since then devoted much of his endeavors to equipping and empowering the leaders of tomorrow as well as those who will create employment and opportunity for others.

As Apostle and Teacher of Camy Arnett Ministries and CEO of BYOBB Media in Union City, Georgia, his message of Christ - like Character and Kingdom Reality Living is the foundation for all other things.  It is his conviction that before GOD asks anything else, He will first ask, “Did you love GOD and did you love each other?” Apostolic duties permitting, he and wife BJ Arnett, enjoy the unified passion of motivational speaking engagements with their family.  “We believe that children learn mainly by watching what you do, not just hearing what you say.”

Apostle Arnett is a man of God, who has a passion for God and His purposes. This has meant ridicule, accusations, and bankruptcy to name a few. Saved in 1980, he found himself going to a Church that taught him how to get saved every Sunday.  So he recalls living in torment for five years without clear understanding of how to apply God's Word for daily living. He knew that there was more to God than just Sunday...this, along with other experiences within the Church have caused a depth of reliance on God's Word as well as a vantage point of his teaching.
